The Department is headed by the Commissioner Construction Standards &Quality Management

The Construction Standards &Quality Management Department pledges to do the following;

• Issue an annual report on innovative technologies;
• Issue a report on materials testing within two weeks from the date of completion of the material s testing;
• Undertake Engineering audits in MDAs
• Develop adequate engineering specifications and standards;
• Promote compliance with standard in the construction industry
• Promote integration of crosscutting issues namely Environment Gender HIV/AIDS Occupational Health and Safety and Disability in the sector; and
• Prepare and submit Annual Sector Environment Compliance Report to NEMA
